داستان کوتاه: لبخند صبح شهداد

در دل یک روستای آرام و سرسبز، پسری به نام شهداد زندگی می‌کرد. خانه‌ی گِلی‌شان کنار یک نهر روان بود و هر صبح، بوی نان داغ مادر و صدای پرندگان، او را از خواب بیدار می‌کرد.

شهداد عادت داشت هر روز قبل از رفتن به مدرسه، چند لحظه کنار نهر بنشیند. کفش‌هایش را درمی‌آورد، پاهایش را در آب می‌زد و به صدای آب گوش می‌داد. چشم‌هایش را می‌بست و لبخند می‌زد.

روزی معلمشان در کلاس پرسید:
«بچه‌ها! به‌نظرتون خوشبختی یعنی چی؟»

هرکسی چیزی گفت: موبایل، پول، سفر، ماشین…
اما شهداد گفت:
«خوشبختی یعنی همون لحظه‌ای که صبح پا می‌شی، بوی نون میاد، نور آفتاب می‌ریزه روی روتختی‌ات، و صدای آب از پنجره میاد تو. اگه دلت شاده، یعنی خوشبختی همون‌جاست.»

معلم لبخندی زد و گفت:
«تو اسمِت بی‌جهت شهداد نیست... واقعاً بخشنده‌ی شیرینی زندگی هستی.»

آن روز، تمام بچه‌ها وقتی به خانه برگشتند، بیشتر به صدای آب، بوی نان، و آفتاب روی پنجره‌شان فکر کردند...

Shahdad’s Adventures – Part One: The Morning Smile and the Art of Good Living

A short story about simple joys and true happiness

In a quiet and green village, there lived a boy named Shahdad.
His family's clay house stood beside a flowing stream, and every morning, the smell of his mother’s warm bread and the songs of birds woke him up.

Each day before going to school, Shahdad had a little ritual.
He would sit by the stream, take off his shoes, dip his feet in the cool water, and listen to its gentle sound.
He would close his eyes and smile.

One day in class, the teacher asked,
“Children, what do you think happiness means?”

Each child gave an answer: mobile phones, money, trips, cars…

But Shahdad said,
“Happiness is that moment when you wake up in the morning, smell fresh bread, see sunlight falling on your bed, and hear the water through the window. If your heart feels light, then happiness is already there.”

The teacher smiled and said,
“Your name suits you, Shahdad… you truly bring the sweetness of life.”

That day, when the children went home,
they paid more attention to the sound of the water,
the smell of bread,
and the sunlight shining on their windows.
